Never have I ever wanted to live anywhere else. Not counting the time I skipped town. That wasn't me moving away from Mystic Falls as much as getting away from Scumfell.

And she's sipping ] I've travelled a lot, and lived in many places. Only two have truly felt like home. [ Mostly because she gave the time to them to make them home ]

Not really. Mystic Falls has always been home to me. That and when I was old enough, I had to watch Jeremy and Elena for Miranda and Grayson.

London was that for a long time for me. I travelled but I hadn't considered settling anywhere else. [ She may have lived in other places before settling in Old City but it wasn't the same - it wasn't home ]

Hey, that doesn't mean I can't bring some myself one of these days. [ the company is definitely the best part, jenna can't deny it. and she's not used to that, but it's very nice. ]

There's not really a need for me to go anywhere anymore. Jeremy and Elena have another few years of high school. And now... [ she ducks her head for a moment and that miiiight be a bit of a blush there, but well it's tempered by sadness. sob alaric. why. ]

And now... [ Helen starts to ask but she knows that look. Oh she may not have used it often but she's still a woman ] Alaric?

[ she nods. she can't help it. it's pretty clear she's head over heels for him. ]

He's the nicest guy I've ever met, but he's got so much baggage... more than me and that's saying something.

[ she fingers the wine glass, debating explaining the whole thing to helen, why it's such a strange situation. prompt her, helen. she needs to talk about this. ]

[ Helen gives a small nod, curious but not quite certain whether or not to press - with Logan she had known not to, not with how Jenna spoke but Alaric? It was fonder, and prompted her next question ]

There's a lot about Mystic Falls that I don't talk about. At first it was because I couldn't... trying to protect Elena from something that could have happened. But she's gone. So until you came... I didn't really have anyone I trusted enough to explain it all to.

[ yes, helen, that means alaric and his wife are all wrapped up in this vampire mess. ]

[ She just gives Jenna a small smile at that - she knew that it was but she was enjoying the conversation ]

As home as Mystic Falls is it would appear that a lot happens there. [ She could relate, partially ]

It seems to attract the vampires and criminally insane. [ meaning scumfell. ] Most of which no one knows about. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I do miss it, even with school and my thesis looming over my head. It's a tiny place where everyone knows me as Miranda Sommers-Gilbert's kid sister, but it's still home.

Home does have a habit of being a little 'odd', but it will always be that.

[ oh she has a good one now. she gives helen a mischievous smirk. ] Hmm Never Have I Ever had a boyfriend in Taxon.

Jenna. [ She may have answered but that didn't mean that she was going to give you everything - it was new and these things were some of the more private to her ]

[ it's a good thing jenna's used to the idea of vampires or she'd be a little freaked out. as it is, she just grins and takes that sip. ]

You're not a vampire or you would have mentioned something when we had the vervain talk. So, what... how is that possible? [ she's honestly curious! she's had almost a year to get used to the idea of strange things and she wants to know what strange things helen's world holds. ]
