It's... what it sounds like, spring break from school. And I forgot to add in high school. So... nine spring breaks so far. I didn't get my tenth because it was winter when I left home, but hey it counts. Most of them were spent in Florida partying because who wants to stay in Virginia when it's snowing and you can be in Florida with the sun and the booze?

Okay, so with Scumfell, the first time, it was one of those you look at each other for a while, go out a couple of times, almost instant relationship. John Gilbert was... well, jackass John Gilbert. But Alaric... [ geeze, how much does she want to say about him? ] He's still getting over the death of his wife. It's been months. And still nothing. I'm so not used to waiting.

Vampires in my world are made in a different way.

[ And Helen gives a nod, and a slightly sympathetic look to Jenna ]

Waiting isn't always too bad. [ And she's considering how to answer this, before eventually taking a sip ] It's slightly different but I knew James for many years before we began a relationship.
